1. Who we are
Hull Online (“we”, “us”) operates this website to market and support Kaky Support AI, a modular business platform provided in partnership with Kaky Support AI infrastructure (Firebase, europe-west1). Data controller: Hull Online, Kingston upon Hull, United Kingdom. Contact: office@hullonline.co.uk
2. What data we collect
When you request a demo or contact us we collect: name, work email, phone (optional), business name, business type, and your message. When you use our site we may collect analytics events (page views, button clicks, form submissions) and technical data (browser type, page URL, approximate referrer). If you become a Kaky customer, additional data is processed under your service agreement and shown in the Kaky admin dashboard (leads, conversations, Business Identity).
3. Lawful basis (UK GDPR)
We process enquiry data on the basis of legitimate interests (responding to commercial enquiries) and, where applicable, steps prior to entering a contract. Analytics uses legitimate interests to improve our website. You may object to processing where applicable by contacting us.
4. How we use your data
To respond to demo and pricing requests; to schedule calls; to improve our website; to prevent abuse (rate limiting); and to operate Kaky Support AI lead management for Hull Online sales. We do not sell your personal data.
5. Storage and processors
Data is stored in Google Cloud / Firebase (EU region: europe-west1) and may be processed by: • Google (hosting, database, functions) • Vercel (website hosting) if applicable • Calendly (scheduling) when you book a meeting • Google Analytics (if enabled on the site) Processor agreements are in place with major providers where required.
6. Retention
Marketing enquiries are retained for up to 24 months unless you ask us to delete sooner. Analytics events may be retained in aggregate for up to 12 months. Contract/customer data follows your subscription terms.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, object, and data portability where applicable. You may lodge a complaint with the ICO (ico.org.uk). To exercise rights, email office@hullonline.co.uk with “Privacy request” in the subject.
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies for site operation. Analytics cookies (if any) are used only with appropriate notice. You can control cookies via your browser settings.
9. International transfers
Where data leaves the UK/EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g. UK IDTA / SCCs) via our subprocessors’ terms.

We may update this policy. The “last updated” date will change. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
