Cookie Policy

1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site work, remember preferences, and — with your consent — support analytics or embedded tools.
2. How Hull Online uses cookies
We group cookies into three categories on hullonline.co.uk: • Essential — always active. Used to store your consent choice and keep the site secure. • Analytics — optional. Used to understand traffic (for example Google Analytics and first-party page events). • Functional — optional. Used for the Kaky support chat widget and embedded scheduling tools. We do not set optional cookies until you accept them or save your preferences.
3. Third-party cookies
If you allow analytics, Google may set cookies related to Google Analytics. If you allow functional cookies, the Kaky Support widget and Calendly (when shown) may set their own cookies as described in their respective privacy policies.
4. Managing your choices
Use the cookie banner when you first visit, or click “Cookie settings” in the site footer at any time. You can also clear cookies in your browser settings. Rejecting non-essential cookies does not block access to the public website.
5. Consent records
When you save a choice, Hull Online stores an audit log entry (timestamp, categories accepted, page URL). This helps demonstrate compliance for UK GDPR / PECR enquiries. Logs do not include your name unless you are signed in elsewhere on the platform.
